1959 Cessna 180B

$AUD360,000

A beautifully restored and extensively upgraded Cessna 180B Skywagon, VH-TPG combines the rugged versatility of this iconic taildragger with modern avionics, thoughtful modifications and a low-time Continental O-470-K engine.

Powered by a 230 hp Continental O-470-K, overhauled by Bilyara Blue Seal Engines, this aircraft features a long McCauley constant-speed propeller, P-Ponk reinforced landing gear boxes, vortex generators, Hoerner wingtips and Tanalian Aviation heavy-duty replaceable tailplane leading edges.

The cockpit has been extensively modernised with a Garmin GNX 375 GPS navigator, Garmin GMA 340 audio panel, dual Garmin VHF radios and TruTrak Vizion two-axis autopilot with altitude hold, GPS coupling and dedicated level mode.

Inside, custom carbon-fibre features include an extended baggage compartment, overhead console with rear passenger ventilation and lighting, and additional wing-root storage. Inertia-reel front seatbelts, tinted sun visors and LED lighting add comfort and practicality.

With long-range fuel tanks and an indicative cruise speed of 125–135 KTAS, VH-TPG offers an appealing combination of touring performance, utility and classic Cessna Skywagon character.
