De Havilland Tiger Moth (Syndicate)
AUD$22,000
I am forming a new syndicate to purchase a Tiger Moth that will be based at Tyabb, Victoria. We have 3 members already and are looking to have a minimum of 5 in total (will accept more than 5). We already have a aircraft selected and are in discussions with the owner.
The intention of the syndicate is to enjoy flying as owners, and put online with the aero club to make it available for training and trial flights (under strict condition).
There are no Tigers available for training in the area and we feel this presents a great opportunity to make it available.
At 5 syndicate members we anticipate a cost around $22k AUD each to purchase and establish legal structure etc. Ongoing maintenance, hangarage etc would be around $250 AUD pm.
If syndicate is greater than 5 members, then the price would reduce further.
The Tiger Moth has been immaculately restored, TTAF 1025 hrs, TTE 210 hrs on 10 Mk 2 Gypsy Major. Brakes that work and a tailwheel.
Aircraft familiarization & training available.
