A rare opportunity to acquire a Jurca Sirocco, a lightweight, efficient French-designed two-seat homebuilt aircraft known for its solid wooden construction and excellent handling characteristics. This example has a total airframe time of 229.5 hours and is structurally more robust than the lighter European ultralights many pilots are familiar with.

The aircraft last flew in March 1988, after which it was involved in a hangar roof collapse. The exact extent of the damage at that time is unknown, and the aircraft changed hands several times before arriving in its current condition. The airframe presents as a straightforward restoration/project and appears potentially close to airworthy pending a thorough LAME inspection.

Powered by a Lycoming O-235-C2A, the engine has been pre-lubricated, checked over, and successfully run. Leak-down results are excellent, and the powerplant features several upgraded components including a modern alternator and starter. A McCauley propeller (freshly overhauled in 2014) is also included.
